Friday afternoon the kids and I went to see the movie Fireproof. I cannot say enough good things about it! I highly recommend that everyone support this movie. It would make a great "date night," and a fun "girl's night out." If you're married, make sure you see it at least once with your spouse. It will change you.... My kids even went to see it and loved it----and understood it. Of course, they've had to live the effects of what happens when things don't go the way they do in the movie.
If you look down further in my blog, you'll see a link to the movie site. You can link directly to the movie trailer. An interesting bit of trivia----in the movie there is a scene where Kirk Cameron's character kisses his wife in the movie. He has made a commitment to never kiss anyone but his wife. So, they dressed his real wife in the same clothes and filmed the scene in silhouette and so he is actually kissing his real wife not the actress. Now that's commitment to marriage the right way.
I'm going again tomorrow hopefully----I want to take my parents. I hope you all get the opportunity to see it and that you enjoy it.
Blessings,
Sharon

love your blog. you've done a great job.
love, mom and dad
I haven't seen it yet but have not given up on seeing it either. Dh and I saw "Facing the Giants" and "Flywheel" last year. We were so impressed that dh wanted our children to see them too.
I heard about Kirk's commitment to his wife also and thought that was really special. You just don't hear of actors like that. To God be all the glory.
